Doukénie Winery is nestled at the base of Short Hill Mountain in scenic Loudoun County, Virginia. Located west of Leesburg, we are just over an hour’s drive from Washington D.C., and a short distance from Frederick Maryland. Our 500-acre property features rolling hills of vegetation, horse pastures, grazing cattle, and of course our treasured vineyard.
Upon arrival, you enter our converted barn, where our tasting room leads to the vineyard vista seen from our covered porch. Amongst the book-lined shelves, and cozy fireplace (in the cooler months), you can sample from the variety of wines that make Doukénie so unique.
Whether you come for the budding trees, the summer breezes, the fall colors, or the snow-covered vines, the natural beauty of the farm makes it hard to leave in any season. Bring a picnic to enjoy by the pond while you watch the ducks, or sample some of our specialty cheeses paired with just the right choice of wine while lounging on the porch.
Join our Heritage Club and enhance your experience with your members-only access to our private tasting room, which you can reserve for parties and special events. You may also choose to book a group tasting in our barrel room where the aroma of oak fills your senses and invites you to encounter the artistry that is Doukénie wine.
